For amino alkyd resin coating, alcohol polar solvent with hydroxyl radical should be added, which has significant effect on skinning.

Paint hardening and bonding:

After the coating surface is skinned, a colloidal body is formed, and if it is further developed, it tends to harden and cause bonding. Generally, the carrier with low acid value should be selected, and aliphatic acid ester or amine can also be added to prevent hardening and bonding. It is worth noting that alkyd resin will not harden and bond with high acid value carrier, but will harden and bond with low acid value carrier.
