Electrostatic spraying includes powder spray and fluorocarbon spray. The raw materials of powder spray are polyurethane, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, hydroxyl polyester resin and epoxy/polyester resin, which can be prepared in various colors. Features of powder foam spraying: the spraying equipment is manual, automatic hanging type, simple construction, coating thickness is more than 30 microns, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, etc. are good, and the coating price is cheaper than fluorocarbon. The biggest weakness of powder spray is that it is afraid of ultraviolet radiation from the sun. Long term radiation will cause natural fading. The sunny side and non sunny side of aluminum plate will have obvious color difference after several years, generally 2-5 years. Now on the market, there is a color aluminum profile, which is used for aluminum doors and windows. It is sprayed with ordinary aluminum profile powder. The color variety of aluminum doors and windows is increased, and the corrosion resistance is also enhanced.

The other electrostatic spraying is liquid spraying, also called fluorocarbon spraying, which is called curium oil in Hong Kong. It belongs to high grade spraying with high price and has been applied abroad for a long time. In recent two years, it has been widely used in aluminum curtain wall in China. Because of its excellent characteristics, it is increasingly valued and favored by the construction industry and users. Fluorocarbon spraying has excellent anti fading, anti frosting, anti atmospheric pollution (acid rain, etc.) corrosion, strong UV resistance, strong crack resistance and can withstand severe weather conditions. It is inferior to ordinary coatings.

1、 Raw materials and structure of fluorocarbon spraying

Fluorocarbon spray coating is a coating made of polyvinylidene fluoride resin nCH2CF2 baking (CH2CF2) n (PVDF) as the base material or aluminum powder as the pigment. The chemical structure of fluorocarbon base material is combined by fluorine/carbonization bond. This short bond structure is considered to be the most stable and firm combination with hydrogen ion. The stability and firmness of chemical structure make the physical properties of fluorocarbon coatings different from those of general coatings. In addition to the excellent wear resistance and impact resistance in terms of mechanical properties, it also shows long-term fading resistance and UV resistance, especially in harsh weather and environment. In the early 1960s, it began to be used for engineering plastics, wires and cables. In 1965, Pennwalt Chemical Company of the United States first synthesized polyvinylidene fluoride as the base material and metal particles aluminum powder into a construction finish, also known as metallic paint, and took Kynar500 as the trademark. As a result, world manufacturers have begun to use Kynar500 to manufacture their own fluorocarbon paint finish to meet the requirements of the coating of high-grade indoor and outdoor aluminum materials. A wide range of color choices, beautiful and solemn appearance, and durability have added luster to many magnificent curtain wall buildings around the world.
